Beautiful large property! Positive: The property is stunning; the rooftop pool is worth the slight inconvenience of the location; the rooms are large, beds are comfortable, and the space is more than ample for a family of 4. Watching both the sunrise and the sunset from the rooftop was unforgettable! Communication via WhatsApp with Daniella was fast, clear, and very helpful. Having laundry is a game-changer with a family, and the 2 available bikes are a great bonus! We didn't mind the location as we used the available bikes and rented two more for very easy transportation around the island (bring headlamps and flashlights for night walking and biking, as it feels totally safe; however, some areas are totally dark). Also, taxis are ample if you don't want to bike or walk. We loved being able to escape the fun and sleep in a peaceful and tranquil area. Also, biking at night allowed us to access night activities (hot corner, dinners out, dancing in the streets, sunset activities) and we had alot of fun with it. Negative: With a younger family, or anyone perhaps not able to bike, this location may be a little inconvenient, although getting taxis seems easy enough, as they are ample and safe. It is a quieter, less populated area, although it seems to be gaining some new builds around it, which may mean it will become more popular or dense. At first, I was a little concerned about safety with it being remote and the streets so quiet around the place; however, this quickly disappeared, and being out at night felt very safe and comfortable for us all (two adults and two teenagers). A few small details, maybe, would add to the already fabulous experience. Although not at all major, a few appliances needed a bit of maintenance (the kitchen sink tap needs repair, we couldn't get the kettle to work, and my husband did some bike maintenance), although we didn't really mind. It would be nice to have more hooks for hanging in the bathroom and maybe inside the main door/ bedrooms for convenience, and a laundry rack to hang clothes outside, as they dry so fast out there! A few more garbage bags and directions on how to manage garbage and recycling, as we would have happily managed this ourselves rather than leaving them at the end of the stay. These issues are super minor, and overall we very highly recommend this property!
